About us
I am Marga and since the tender age of 16 I have found myself immersed in the wonderful story of Son Barceló Mas. Two years ago, we experienced a significant generational leap due to my parents’ retirement, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the management of the farm. However, at Son Barceló Mas, we are not simply individuals, we are a passionate family. The love we profess for this place is manifested daily by walking among the olive trees and admiring the flowering of the plants and trees. We give ourselves to the land with devotion, we feed the chickens, and we take care of every corner, thus giving it a special character.
This unique connection not only involves me but also my parents and my adorable daughters. At Son Barceló Mas, we never lack emotion; whether feeding the chickens, visiting the lovely mare Rita, or enjoying bike rides. On warm summer days, visiting the beach becomes a mandatory ritual. We pride ourselves on living a healthy and peaceful lifestyle, and take every opportunity to explore new destinations. Son Barceló Mas is not just a place, it is our sanctuary, where life flourishes in harmony with nature and every day is a new adventure.
The Farm
The Agroturisme Son Barceló Mas, surrounded by gardens with numerous trees of many types such as orange, lemon, fig and almond trees, typical of Mallorca and a plantation of more than 1000 olive trees, with the production of virgin olive oil as the main agricultural activity of the estate.
This agricultural property has belonged to the same family since 1800 and each generation we have dedicated ourselves to taking care of it and adapting to current times. Sheep, cows, pigs, and currently an olive plantation, where you will find a small family of sheep grazing through the fields.
Accommodation
We have different buildings, all of which have previously been main houses, farms or animal stables that have been restored and adapted to guest accommodation, thus being able to maintain a balance between agriculture and tourism.
We have double rooms, studios with terraces and two apartments, perfect for different vacation styles. Also two swimming pools, thus creating two environments, often one more childlike for play and another for more relaxation.
Around
We are surrounded by nature and agricultural fields, walking just 5 minutes away there are two cow and pig farms that can be seen from the road, and a Polo equestrian center.
Oil: Own production
On our farm, the experience is expanded with the production of our own extra virgin olive oil, which captures the essence of the olive groves that surround our agritourism hotel in Mallorca. This liquid gem not only enriches your palate at breakfast, but is also available for purchase and you can take it home to prolong the unique experience of our agritourism at every meal.
